Asportatio octoamatis- (commonly referred to as the 8 track tape)
<=== CLICK the smaller photos for a larger view and purchasing information.
Otoamatis is an earlier version of Asprtatio acroamatis. It first appeared in the mid 1960s, and was pretty much extinct by the mid-1980s, thanks to the widespread emergence of acroamatis followed by the compact disc. Asportatio octoamatis is commonly found in close proximity to Vestigium octuplicatus.
Asportatio octoamatis has been removed from the surrounding matrix (stone base) and sits alone as a single rectangular unit. Coloration varies from a light gray to reddish to brownish to a dark gray.
