This is a (sort of) scale model of my 1976 Yamaha RD400. It's made from steel and stainless steel, and almost every part was made from scratch.

The entire piece is treated with a black patina, which only affects the steel, and leaves the stainless shiny. Then several coats of clear gloss lacquer to bring out the detail.

The steering head moves, but the motorcycle has no other moving parts.

It is perfectly sized for Barbie, or 12" GI Joe action figures.
